What’s a cultural tradition from your country that you love?

Perhaps my least favorite meal, but most favorite tradition: Thanksgiving.

As men, we often bring about our own greatest disasters in a world capable of only conditional love and understanding. The fires we set may burn away the dead wood that weighs us down but without a hope that reignites the fire and lifts us up to soar we are doomed to sit in a life of pain among the ashes of all we destroyed. The world, the people who even claimed to love us unconditionally, will fail us. But the hope of God will replace our ashes with a crown of beauty and a joyous blessing instead of mourning. Real men will rise like a Pheonix and light this world. Whether you are guilty or the victim of circumstance this hope remains.
