How do you write what people actually want to read?

I began to write because I had a story on my heart- honestly, because I love the art of story telling. But I carry with my inherent abilities no great gift. I have never thought about what someone wants to read. Only what I want to write. And I began writing on this blog because if I didn’t have a source to share my pain, my wins, my ups, my downs- the journey- I’d lose myself somewhere in the unwritten world. So many amazing writers on here with so many great stories to share. Written in a moment, frozen in time, capturing the happy, the sad, the anxious, the angry, the every shade of being human. And I never thought, during my enjoyment of their stories, they thought about what it was I desired before they shared their heart. Vulnerability.
